Terms of Use

These terms cover how this site works, what you can expect from the writing here, and where our responsibility ends. They apply to every page, post and download on adjustingyourbrain.com. Read them once; they are short and written in the same plain language as the rest of the blog.

What this site is

An independent blog about brain retraining, focus habits and self-directed practice. Posts describe personal experiments, reading notes and drills. Nothing here is a diagnosis, a treatment plan or a substitute for care from a registered professional.

Using the material

You may read, print and share posts for personal, non-commercial use, with a link back to the original page. Republishing whole articles, reselling worksheets or feeding the text into training datasets is not allowed without written permission.

Your responsibility

Exercises, journaling prompts and focus routines are suggestions, not instructions. You decide what fits your week, your health and your circumstances. If a practice makes things worse, stop and speak to a doctor, psychologist or counsellor.

Limits of our liability

We write carefully, but we cannot promise that every method suits every reader. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions, outcomes or losses that follow from applying something you read here.

Reader contributions

Mailbag letters and comments may be edited for length and clarity before publication. By sending something in, you confirm it is your own words and agree that we may quote it, with your first name only unless you ask otherwise.

Changes and ending access

These terms may be updated as the site grows; the date at the top of this page will change when they are. We may remove content or close a section at any time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised version.

Cookie settings

We use cookies to keep the site reliable, remember basic choices, and understand which pages are useful. You can accept, reject, or review the settings before continuing.
