Still stuck on something the posts did not answer?

Questions land in the mailbag every week, and most of them are better than the ones I set out to write about. If a drill made no sense, if a routine fell apart by Wednesday, or if you are unsure whether a problem belongs with a blog or with a professional, send it through. I read everything and reply to as many as I can.

No account needed, no autoresponder sequence. Just a plain note back, usually within a week, sometimes with a follow-up post if enough readers ask the same thing.

Prefer email? Write to info@adjustingyourbrain.com or call 057 821 3546.

I cannot give medical or psychological advice, and anything urgent belongs with a qualified professional rather than a blog inbox.

Where to take your next question

Most readers arrive with something specific on their mind: a drill that stopped working, a habit that keeps slipping, or a nagging feeling that self-directed practice has run its course. Below is how to reach us, when we usually reply, and which channel suits which kind of question.

Postal address

267 Conradie Lodge Apt. 175
East Anthony, NW 4569

Letters about the beginner series, corrections to a post, or print requests land here. We read everything, though replies to posted mail take longer than email.

Phone

057 821 3546

Best for short questions about the habit library or the monthly mailbag. If you are in a difficult stretch and need support now, a counsellor or your GP is the right call, not a blog line.

Email

info@adjustingyourbrain.com

The steadiest way to reach us. Send longer notes here: what you tried, how many weeks you kept at it, and what changed. Those details make a question answerable.

Hours and reply times

Monday to Thursday
09:00 to 16:00, South African time
Friday
09:00 to 13:00, mostly spent on the mailbag
Weekends and public holidays
Closed. Messages wait until the next working day.
Typical reply
Two to four working days. Reader mailbag picks get a longer answer.

How to reach a real person

This is a small independent blog, not a clinic or a support line. Messages land in one inbox and get read in the order they arrive, usually on weekday mornings before the writing starts. If your question is about a specific post, mention the title so it does not get lost in the pile.

Email

Best for longer questions, corrections, and reader mailbag submissions. Plain text is fine, no formal letter needed.

Phone

For short practical matters only. There is no counselling on this line, and no one will talk you through a crisis here.

057 821 3546

Post

Letters and printed notes, if that is your habit. Slower, but they do get read.

267 Conradie Lodge Apt. 175

Response times, honestly stated

Most emails get a reply within two to three working days. During a busy stretch it can stretch to a week, and I would rather say that up front than leave you refreshing your inbox. If you have not heard back after seven days, send a short nudge with the original message quoted underneath. Phone calls are answered when someone is at the desk, so expect to leave a message more often than not.

One thing worth saying plainly: nothing here replaces a qualified professional. If you are dealing with something that needs clinical care, the right move is a psychologist, GP or counsellor, not a blog. For anything about how your details are handled, the privacy policy covers it, and the terms set out what this site is and is not.

Read the FAQ before writing in Many questions about routines, timing and where to start are already answered there.
